Updated to 4.3.4.4 and cc no longer connects to pc

I've tried entering port addresses as per the help screen. I have good internet connection. Any ideas as to why it won't connect. PS I've tried on both my Nexus 7 and my Nexus 9 and neither connect - Nexus 7 connected fine before the update.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Changed to a different wifi - still no joy - also Galaxy Note 10.1 no longer connects, either!

since no one is replying, I have to assume it is all 3 wifis I'm connecting to that is causing the problem. Sure hate not to use CC - I'll keep researching, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Especially what to tell the techies at the RV park so they can reset their equipment.

Final edit - I'm sure it is in the wifi connections somehow. Sometimes I can get Content Server to connect, then I can occasionally get a very slow connection to wireless connection (that times out more often than not). Although, my connection is "excellent" and internet is very fast.

You may be connecting to the wrong (frequency) side of your multi-frequency router.
The Signal will be outstanding, but no connection to other devices.

If none of your devices require the low frequency, set the router to ONLY use the upper frequency(or the reverse)

@peaceridge: I *did* reply. Or at least I thought I did. I must have closed the browser window before clicking the submit button.

That update changed nothing in CC's network connection stuff. That leads me to think that the change is on the computer running calibre or on your network. Did you update calibre? Did you update your antivirus? Have you checked the firewall to be sure that the CC port (usually 9090) is still allowed, or if on Windows that calibre itself (Command line interface for calibre ...) is still marked as "private" (see section 1 of How do I setup Calibre Companion to connect to calibre?)? Have you changed your wifi router?

If you are running windows then a test you can make is to start your computer in "safe mode", start calibre, then try to connect. If this works then you know for certain that something on the computer running calibre is blocking connections. See section 7 of How do I setup Calibre Companion to connect to calibre?

Thanks to both of you - theducks, I'll try your suggestion.

Chaley, I had already checked your first 2 paragraphs suggestions - I haven't checked the last - will do and see if that helps before going into the router. I have been bouncing between routers to see if it helped, so I kinda think it may be a router issue.

Will have to wait until tomorrow to get with the router person to reset it if necessary.

Thanks again.
