Glo HD - too slow when i turn the page

Hi,

i am new at your community and i am here because i got my new Glo HD Reader. My problem with this reader is, that the reader software is too slow for me when i turn the page.

Is it possible to speed it up?
Can i use a different reader software?

What software version are you running? You may need to update it to the latest release.

Is it slow for all file formats? .epubs, .kepubs, .txt, .pdf, ect... Is it slow for only certain books? The slowness could be hardware related and using different software might not solve the problem. It could also be a matter of expectations, normal may seem fast or slow to different people. Of all these, it is most likely something related to only specific ebooks.

Sorry, i have to explain what i mean with "slow". For me it is slow, when i scroll through the pages searching a special passage in the text, and the screen loads in slow speed and i tap for switching to the next page and so on.
I tested it only with epub files and yesterday i did the update.

Define slow in number of seconds it takes for new page to appear? Maybe make a video of you flipping pages. Is this your first eInk device, unfortunately it's normal to be a tad slower than Apple/Android tablets.

What frustschutz said... also, when searching for a specific passage, I recommend using the Search feature.
