Home button row including store has gone missing in kindle pw2

Hello Everyone.

I find myself in a bit tricky situation. Today, after i succeeded in getting a jailbreak, i installed few KUAL extensions. One of them was ie logo in search bar at here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...ar#post2503720 .

I downloaded the extension and i ran it. In the KUAL launcher, it showed up as Store button changer. I clicked it and then kindle restarted, to my surprise the entire home button row went away including the option for experimental browser. The bottom row of cloud, device, all books docs periodicals and recent tough not visible are clickable by imagining their positions.

The worst part is whenever, i am done with any active games or extension , i cant find home button, so i have to restart it everytime and again and again.

On my part, with my limited knowledge i tried removing the culprit from the extension folder by deleting the folder but damage was already done.

It would be extremely kind on your part to help me deal with this situation. There is no place, i can get help with it. I tried googling for few hours but it is helpless.

I have attached the screenshot of the first screen after reboot.

Also, is this the right forum or thread to ask question? It is just so frentic for me.

@mixedbag: Which FW version was your device running?

IIRC, most of the things trying to affect various aspects of the chrome stopped working on 5.6.x.

EDIT: Added a big fat warning to that extension post.

In the meantime, it has no undo feature, so let me whip one up for you, once I've confirmed the exact FW version you're running.

5.6.5 firmware 9017 model. I cannot access it now. I am just recalling from my memory.

In fact, i miss deeply my home button, back button and the update your kindle options, now after this fiasco. But I appreciate your quick reply.

That copy of collections manager may not work either.

I say this with all my humility. Please accept my gratitude for all your efforts. It works like a charm. I couldn't get it right the first time.

So, I removed ie-changer the old one from the extensions folder. I then added this new undo-ie-changer in the extensions folder. Also I removed the collections manager but it still didn't work.

So, as a last resort, i marked the screen saver kual extension as flag for complete uninstall and then i clicked UNDO store button manager.

It worked Sire. I call you Sire out of deep respect.
