A few quick questions about jailbreak (downgrading)

I have a PW2 that is jailbroken on 5.6.5.

I want to downgrade it to something on 5.3.x and I am not sure which is the best version for my kindle. I tried to google it and I could only find release notes in random places but not in order.

I wanted to get a kindle that could change fonts (which has been very difficult, and I don't think is working), and have custom screensavers (which for some reason also does not work). Does anyone have suggestions for a version to downgrade to that is more jailbreak friendly?

The initial PW2 shipped on FW 5.4.0, so, no.

Your best bet is playing along with what's currently available (i.e., embedding, or the fonts hack).

I'm having an issue with KUAL+, the font hack, and the screen saver.

KUAL I set to replace the store button, but it didn't work. It just says I need to connect to the internet to work, and its just the store.

The font hack never worked. It shows the font, and I select the font and restart it, but it doesn't change the font. Is it supposed to change when I try to change it when reading?

The screen saver mostly works, but I don't know how to resize the images. I saw it as an option but now its gone.

Replacing the store button may be firmware version specific - YMMV (it also did on other 5.6.x firmware version - do strange things that is).

I think the font hack only applies to the KF8 (a.k.a: azw3 format books) what format are your books?

The Kindles do not accept just any old image, they have rather strict requirements.

Post your questions each in there appropriate thread, so other people can find the questions/answers in the future.
