Did ebook-convert have big change?

Did ebook-convert have big change? I tried to use it as before, but it doesn't work.

I used the command again (from http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/news.html):
"ebook-convert myrecipe.recipe .epub --test -vv --debug-pipeline debug"

However, it no longer works.

And I can't use the option "--username" as well.

Nope there are no changes to ebook-convert's command line interface.

I ran below command:
"ebook-convert receipt.txt .epub --test vv --debug-pipeline debug --username=a.b@abc.com"

However, I got this error message:

ebook-convert.exe: error: no such option: --test

Any clue why it doesn't work?

Try it without the --test option.

You need ot convert a file that ends with .recipe not .txt

ebook-convert file.recipe ...

not

ebook-convert recipe.txt

As Kovid says, you need to use the correct file or recipe name, not just because it needs the right input, but also because the available options depend on the format.
The TXT format, unlike the news recipe format, has no --test option...

Also, you have another typo -- the "vv" should be "-vv"
