Kobo Glo & Nook Simple Touch
I'm clearing out some of my unused eReaders and tablets and thought I would post them here before putting them up on eBay.
No pictures yet -- I'm lazy, but will email some if you want and if there is any interest here. Kobo Glo (not HD) -- was like new when I bought it -- still is, except for the oil it attracts from your hands (never liked that Glo texture "feature" -- almost like a sponge). Comes with the original box and whatever literature was in it (no charger). I've kept it in an M-Edge Case designed for the bigger Kindle Touch -- so it was more convenient to remove it from the case when reading. Holds a good charge, front light is bright and even. Pictures available by request. I would like to get $45 for it, plus $5 s/h. Will be deregistered and factory reset when sold. I've added the font Constantia and did whatever change in the setup required to allow me to get rid of headers and footers. Don't know if these changes will survive the factory reset or not. Fire HD6 -- In original box, with charger (including cord). Still basically looks new. Keeps a good charge (not like an eReader, but for an Android tablet it appears to have a strong battery). Has been in a Fintie Shell case from the day I got it. I tried to make myself like a tablet instead of an eReader -- just couldn't do it. I would like to get $60 for this plus $5 s/h. The tablet has already been deregistered and factory reset. Pictures available on request. EDIT: Fire HD6 no longer available. Found out my oldest son wanted it, so it's being recycled within the family. (Sorry for listing it. I didn't think he had any interest.) Nook Simple Touch -- In very good condition -- slight scuff on the frame, no scratches or scuffs on the screen. Holds a charge for weeks. Haven't done anything with it. (I bought it as a spare, but realized that all I would probably ever do with it is charge it once a month or so. And that's the main reason I'm getting rid of these, tired of charging tablets and eReaders that I'm not using.) Comes in an M-Edge Case designed specifically for the NST. This is still my favorite eReader design (I'm keeping my original NST and NST with Glowlight). I would like to get $35 plus $5 s/h for this one. Pictures available on request. (No original box or charger with this.) Thanks for reading my meandering post. I'm ending this listing due to lack of interest. I'll probably put them up on eBay in the next couple weeks. I keep forgetting about this listing and worry that someone will have asked a question about one of these that I unintentionally ignored. Last edited by rcentros; 01-20-2016 at 03:50 AM. |
