Moving books to library

While splitting my library i dream about a way to tell calibe what to do but without doing it.

1. Select some books
2. Say: Move them to library 2, but later.

3. Select some other books
4. Say: Move them to library 3, but later

...

n. Please do what i told you and move all my books!

Is there a way to do this, please?

Why does it need to be done "later"? Why not now?

calibre doesn't include any timers for actions, probably because no one has ever thought of a way they could be useful (and I still don't see one, sorry).

Moves of a few dozen books takes under a minute to a HD
(while NOT recommended, I have done that to a Not-In-Use Library on a Local Networked drive with almost no additional time. )

Using a destination Library on Flash drive really slows thing down

Nope
I agree with your 'Why Later'

Later would be needed for a Long running process (like over a 300baud modem line) or something like download metadata (but I really believe in being nice to those servers and doing that in <40 book batches)
