NEC MobilePro 800: ebook reader?

This is actually a laptop, so I wasn't going to post about it. It is somewhat outside MR area of interest. But I'm having fun posting from it, so I thought I'd tell everyone.

The NEC MobilePro 800 is about 9 years old. It weighs less than 3 pounds, and has a 9" touchscreen with 800x600 resolution. The CPU is 131 MHz MIPS, which limits the software available. But since it runs WinCE 2.11, Pocket Office and IE are included. The rest of the specs are as follows:

32mb RAM
CF card slot (2GB card)
PC card slot (802.11b wifi card in there right now)
modem
IRda
USB host

The browsing experience is rather nice. I was expecting it to be clunky and slow under such an early version of IE and such a slow CPU. But no, it's nice enough that I don't mind posting this thread from the MP800. Actually, I like posting from this almost as much as I like posting from my regular laptop. Because this version of IE is so old, it drops most of the formatting from this page. In effect, I am seeing the mobile version of this site that Alex hasn't finished yet. I've tried browsing this forum from other mobile devices. They all had later versions of IE, so they showed all the formatting. This caused each page to take forever to load.

I don't yet have email working on it (for two reasons). I've never used an email client before, so cconfiguring it has taken me awhile. And I cannot access web based email because this version of IE doesn't yet support HTTPS (I think).

I have two ebook reader on here right now, uBook and MobiReader 4.8. uBook is slow, but I'm keeping it because it reads PDFs and is the only PDF reaader I've found so far. Mobipocket is Mobipocket. It runs okay, but is a little slow.

P.S. If anyone is inspired to go get one of these off Ebay, pm me first.
