How can i determine what books have DRM in calibre
I have a large library, about 1700 books. Somehow every now and them a book I purchased from Amazon will come up with a DRM message and is in AZW1 format.

I have installed the DeDrm plugin and I have books converted to AZW3 and Mobi format.

How can i display which books have DRM on them in Calibre?

Simply viewing your library by format should be sufficient. Books which have had DRM removed will appear in Calibre as "Mobi" or "AZW3" format. Books which have not had DRM removed will show in their original format.

But AZW3 books will have AZW3 as their original format, if you added it from the device.

E-Ink devices download MOBI as AZW and AZW3 as AZW3.
Kindle for PC if I remember correctly downloads both as AZW.

DRM Check: Find out what DRM that ebook has got.
Command-line python script to check books for DRM, requires some scripting on Windows/Linux to check many files at once, there is an AppleScript already attached to do so on OSX.

Will that work on AZW<x> files? Doesn't sound likely.

I used the Count Pages plugin for it. Any book it failed on either had DRM or was corrupt in some (other ) way.

Thanks. I download everything with K4PC, hence always see "AZW" if the file has DRM.
