Question kindle 3 blinking orange
Hi, i have kindle 3 and i have replaced the battery. When i connect it with a wall charger the led blinking orange and won't turn on. With the original not blinking (and won't turn on, maybe because it's completely empty). Any suggestion?

I'm afraid that it sounds very much as if your replacement battery is faulty.

Yes, indeed. Could be either.

If you've already bought a new battery it might be better to cut your losses at this point and replace the device.

but the original don't blinking. i connect it this morning and was orange, now it's off. I'll try when I get home. I hope it is only the battery...

as I suspected ... must be dead the motherboard ... if I leave it connected to the USB the led is solid orange but will not turn on, if i unplug the usb nothing happens....

Mine has a steady orange light & steady green light. Blinking? Maybe its a code. When my mobility scooter Blinks the tech asks how many & it tell him what wrong so he can fix it. IF the blinks can be counted maybe a call to amazon tech support can tell you whats wrong.
