What PlugIns Might I want/need?

OSX: 10.10.5

Just a reader with a growing inventory of great books.
Use Calibre on my OSX and read through Kindle on my Android One Plus One phone, which has a very large screen.

Thinking it might be time to have a good plug in that allows me to quickly back up all of my library to the Cloud or even just to an external drive.

Can someone please tell me which one would be my best bet or if there are a few good ones, which ones they are?

Lastly, as a reader only, so far, are there any other plug ins that someone like myself might find extremely useful if made aware of it?

a Plugin is not needed (and probably, not wanted due to file locking issues)

Any cloud backup software should do...Just remember a few things:

ALWAYS PAUSE this (for the Calibre folders) while you are running Calibre (GUI)
Backup (Shadow) only advised. 2-way sync can mix old and new files, making a hash of it
Do Not use Google Drive as it uses a folder versioning that clashes with calibe
remember to Backup the Calibre configuration folder as well. It contains customization and user plugins

@ShelaghDB - re backup, why not use OSX's Time Machine, you may need to take heed of theducks comment regarding pausing it when you're running calibre

There's an index to all the optional plugins here ==>> Index of plugins. My advice would be to only install the plugins you will actually use - installing and removing plugins is easy enough. FWIW I have these PIs installed the '*' indicated their importance to me.

*** View Manager
*** Modify ePub
*** Count Pages

** Find Duplicates
** Generate Cover
** Import List
** Reading List
** Resize Cover

* EpubSplit
* Extract ISBN
* Favourites Menu
* Quality Check
* User Category

That is almost my exact list and a similar usage order

(no View Mgr or Reading List)

I tend not to use Time Machine and just back up to a external drive but I really should so, I guess this is as good a time as any..
