Doubt: Different catalog according to the library?
Hi,
I have a doubt because I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's just how it should work. I use a lot the csv catalog but I'm finding a problem. I use three different libraries, each of them with different fields, some of them are common, but other only exist at any library. When I generate a catalog for a library (with previously marked fields not included in it), they are unmarked but, when I come back to the library which includes them, I have to check and reorder them again. Is it normal? Isn't there any way to have different configurations for each library? Thanks in advance |

The settings for that could certainly be moved to become per-libarry, however, since GRiker, who maintains the catalog code is not active, you will have a long wait.

![]() I foresee a learning of calibre code in a near future if I'm able to understand it. If I'm not wrong, it would be to move it from json file to the database.

For examples, look for usages of "db.prefs". It is in effect a persistent dict.
