Deleting books from library?

How do you delete books from the Calibre library?

I've added books I no longer want, but the 'remove' button seems to have been relocated or removed entirely, so how do I clean up my library?

I've got duplicate books as well as individual copies that I no longer want.

Preferences ==> Toolbars
Add the button back to your (main) toolbar.

Note: The "Delete" button is a shortcut key for deleting a book. I prefer using that, and deliberately removed the button from my toolbar.

We don't need no stinkn' icon

Right click on the line (book): Remove (is at the bottom): <confirm>
or
Select the book: Tap Del(ete): <confirm>

Not necessarily - toolbars, context menus, and menubars are all equally customisable.

Oh my god, thank you! I don't know why the button disappeared from my toolbar as I never touched it before, and the Delete keyboard button actually doesn't work for me for some resason.

I can't think why it wouldn't work, unless the keyboard shortcut was unset in Preferences ==> Advanced ==> Keyboard

Oh well, you could always manually set it to something random like "CTRL+ALT+\"
