Rename file

A minor feature suggestion:

When you select "rename file" for a file in a subdirectory, the name (excluding leading directories and file extension) is selected to allow you to type a new name.

When the file is is the root directory (no leading path), the entire name including extension is selected.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to exclude the extension from the selection in the second case, as with the first case?

Which is Kovid's way of saying that you're right, and he's now made the change in the calibre source, and the fix should be in the next build.
