Is the Series tag browser broken

Is this broken?

Clicking on the Series first Letter in the Tag Browser should return the 36 items. It does not

series_sort:"~^[K]" (editing the search to series:"~^[K]" works)

First letter works for Authors, Tags and Publishers

@theducks - I can confirm this is true.

Nota Bene : The suggested 'edit' will not return books beginning with an article ('The', 'A' etc)

But has it ever worked? I have a 2.22 portable and it doesn't work there either, nor does it work in 1.48 portable.

I really don't remember the last time I used it (if ever )
I was looking for a series that had inconsistent metadata A xyz vs xyz

The answer is also No for V2.0 (on XP)

This one seems to have been there a while (And is only becomes active if your series partitions by first letter)

I have to wonder why no one ever stumbled across this before
I certainly have enough series to activate first-letter partitioning.
