I buy and borrow most ebooks in kindle format but keep running into ePub books from the library. I want to buy a diff ereader. It should be light and preferably back lit like a paper white and easy to get books from overdrive.
Please give recommendations. Many Thanks |

Sounds like you want a Kobo.
Oh and just a little heads up, tablets are backlit. The PW is front lit. |

You might want to take a look at the Boox C67ml Carta. It has a Carta eInk screen like the Paperwhite with slightly less DPI (212 vs 300 of the Paperwhite). It has a front lit screen, 8 gig onboard memory with microSD card slot. It supports Adobe DRM. It is not tied into a particular book store, so you will have to sideload books or install the bookstore app of your choosing from the Google Play store, which is preinstalled on the device. I've installed the Overdrive app. It seems to work, but I haven't tried to read anything through it yet.
You can find the Boox C67ml Carta on Amazon, Ebay, or Banggood.com. I got mine through Amazon. Make sure you search for the c67ml Carta - there is another version just called the c67ml which doesn't have the Carta screen. |

I absolutely love my Kobo Aura h2o, the extra screen size is nice. It is also a good size for my hand, my nook simple touch with glowlight was too small to fit comfortably in my hands.

ensyed, where is it you live? That answer will determine what sort of choices you have available to you without being too expensive.

I think Kobo is offering free shipping at the moment. It's either that or a Nook. May as well just get the Kobo. There is not much diversity in the marketplace these days (in America anyway).
