T68 Lynx and Calibre USB Problem

I have been using my T68 Lynyx for about ten months now and I have enjoyed it. But recently I have encountered a new problem when connecting to Calibre via USB cable.

I am no longer able to add an epub to my device using a USB cable. Right click / Send to Device / Send specific format to / always results in the epub being converted to azw3 format.

To try to fix this, I have done a factory re-set. I have updated the firmware. I have done another factory re-set. Still, I can't send epub format to the device from Cailbre using the USB connection.

I am able to copy the file from the computer to the device by dragging and dropping from a file manager ... but not through Calibre.

Interestingly, I have no problem at when when using Calibre Companion. I transfer epubs easily.

Any suggestions?

Right click the device icon in calibre, select configure this device and make sure epub is ticked in the list of formats to send to the device.

I re-posted this question in the Calibre section where Kovid responded and fixed the problem for me. I'm re-posting it here so if anyone else has this problem, they can correct it.
