RED JUNCTION - The Definitive Zombie Western of Late Summer, 2015

Thanks for your interest! My first novel, Red Junction, is available on Amazon. It's a quainter take on the zombie trope, set in a time before smart phones, machine guns and indoor plumbing.

Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W0L28PW?

"The Colorado Gold Rush calls the worst kind of men to the High Country. Connivers and murderers swarm from the far reaches to stake their claims. They come seeking the Color. What some of them they discover is another color altogether.

Rex Westman is chief amongst the many scoundrels. He holds the Sheriff hostage. He lords over the town of Red Junction from his palatial compound, dispatching henchmen to perform his dark bidding. But this time, has he gone too far?

Yule Sherwin is a drunk. He's up at dawn cobbling together coffins. Then it's across the street to drink himself blind at the bordello. His favorite is Misty, a girl who's come of age without ever knowing life outside the whorehouse. During a midnight rendezvous, they meet a dead boy with an unholy appetite.

Terrible secrets are revealed to Yule. The End is near and only he knows it. But he's a man broken and haunted by his past -- is he up to the challenge? Can he write himself a new chapter, one where he's the hero?

Or mayhap, he'd be better served by building his own pine box -- while there's still time to do so."

"This is a strange but very fun horror western about a small gold mining town's zombie problem. The descriptions of gore were intense, and brothel action pretty explicit. Anachronistic modern language used by the author does help soften the nightmare scenario and bring humor to this gruesome tale! The graphic descriptions in this world are done so well, the macabre is expressed beautifully. The story was exciting and packed with inventive action. There is a scene where a character is sobering up from medical use of ether, it was very suspenseful and mysterious- probably my favorite part. The characters are the usual staples of tales set in the old west, but they all have depth and personality here with much amusing dialogue. I definitely recommend this to anyone not averse to detailed carnage." ~GoodReads review from a genuine stranger.

Reviews are trickling in! Just want to thank everyone who picked up a copy of RED JUNCTION while it was free. We gave away nearly a thousand copies, so I'm calling the promotion an unqualified success, seeing as how I've got something like 130 friends on Facebook. That means many folks whom I do not know have grabbed a copy and are hopefully going to read it, too.

Thanks again for allowing me this platform to promote my work. I am very grateful.
