the old internal storage/ROM issue

Hi,

I know the m96 is not suppoosed to work as tablet, still i see the potential in it, and i'm totally fine with the slow speed, i prefer the longlasting batter and the i-ink.

but the issue with the 500MB ROM/ internal sorage is so anoying.

i know about all the options with link2sd and putting the apps on an external sd's ext3/4 partition.
My problem is that i switch between 3 Sd card, so everytime i swith to another sdcard lots of errors appear and most apps do not work anymore.

is thre any possibility to increase the ROM I actually have the M96CPlus version, so i would have 5GB Free to use.
the app2sd method does not work for me cause most of the data reamains on the ROM and after 10-20 apps the topic with "too little sorage" comes again.

another option i was thinking of is to add a ext3/4 partition to the internalstorage /sdcard.
i tried that, but had to find out that i will not work that easy as i thought, i destoys the partition table or something like that, and bricks the m96

Any ideas?

greets and thanks

Gernot

Have you tried FolderMount? It lets you move data from internal to an external SD card.

hi,

thats actually ecatly what i do not want.

the m96 has
-internal memory ROM 500MB
-internal SDCard (wich actually is the internal flash) 5000MB
.external SD (wich is a real sd card)

and i only want all my app and system data on either the ROM or the internal flash
for the purpos of changing the external sd card without loosing app functionality.

But it seems that foldermount can also move data to other storage than the external, so i will give it a try.

greets and thanks until now

Yes, folder mount can move data to internal SD, I believe. Also, app2sd can move data (maybe if you get the pro version), but foldermount might work better for you.

ok i tried it, but the proble is that like te name says you can just move folders.
but that would be to much effort, cause i tried to move the whole data/apps/data, or data/apps/dalvikcache,
But like expected it just causes crashing the device

But the main idea is what i want moving data, apk, and library of an app to te internal sd.
and No, link2sc, or app2sd, does not do it, it sounds like it, but most of the data remains on the internal ROM.
