Corrupt (I think) epub won't open
I've tried to open an epub on my ipod touch and (I think) due to corruption of the file, it's "opened" the file but I just get a spinning, er, spinner in the reading section. All of the option buttons (home, library, bookmarks,, settings etc) are inaccessible (don't work).
Eventually, the app closes, but whenever I open it again, the same spinner happens. Rinse. Repeat. The whole process has been a disaster (mainly because when I tried to "fix" it, I inadvertently allowed it to update to iOS 8.4 and now I can't connect via Calibre to replace the file). I've tried reverting to a backup but not only did it remember the iOS update (doh!) there were no books in my library (double doh!). Is there a way to close the ebook but keep all the books in the Marvin library? |

Fixed the opening (or not) ebook problem by changing the Marvin settings to not "launch to book). Phew. Now that I've deleted the offending book, I've changed the setting back.
Of course, nothing to be done about the iOS 8.4 disaster. |
