Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/DRM-free) An Unstoppable Force [Xtian Church Community Help]

An Unstoppable Force: Daring to Become the Church God Had in Mind by Erwin Raphael McManus is his faith community outreach manifesto cum advice guide for religious professionals, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

Currently free, probably just for the next couple of days @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), and may also be free via other venues listed on the publisher's web catalogue page. The usual listing for this is currently MIA @ ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub available to select countries), but the last couple of times this happened, they had it back up for free on the 2nd day, and if not, this will probably get a repeat at some point.

Description
As the world around us changes at record-speed, An Unstoppable Force imagines a church that embraces change by remaining fully committed to its apostolic calling. Church leaders will discover new ways of engaging communities through vibrant, relevant ministries and clear, innovative communication.

An Unstoppable Force challenges churches to cast aside methods that are broken or atrophied and embrace the future of the Church with vigor. McManus’s prophetic voice outlines a church that is not a refuge from the world, but a refuge to the world. Christians on the forefront of the church movement must be ready to let go of the past and move forward.

I understand you to be saying that it's not even listed at Christianbook right now, but that it will probably show up again. Anyway, I did a search of (U.S.) Christianbook and couldn't find the ebook listed.

That seems like strange behavior, if that is the case. I'm wondering why they would remove a title. It's not like they're taking money out of their pockets, since they were giving it away, but I just don't see the rationale.

Thanks for your post. I've got an tab for Christianbook open in my browser so that maybe I will remember to check them for that ebook in a few days.

Sometimes they have site glitches and maybe something went wrong with trying to mark down the freebie so instead of being $0.00 the listing that's still findable via Google cache or from the linkage at the DCC catalogue page just doesn't show up at all any more until someone over there notices and manually fixes it.

Anyway, this has happened before in the past with a few DCC and other publishers' titles, and the usual pattern is that it got resolved and showed up again within the freebie period, so I'm feeling optimistic.

Or perhaps you do have some faith after all?

It's up at Christianbook now.
