Called by Fire by Australian author Delwyn Jenkins is the 1st in her Watchtower Chronicles series of f/m paranormal action/adventure erotic romances with strong investigative and suspense elements set in a fantasy world populated by witches and knights, this installment starring a reluctant fire witch who must work together with a knight to uncover the evil forces of dark magic behind the kidnappings and murders of her fellow witches, free courtesy of publisher Pan Macmillan Australia's Momentum imprint.

This has previously been offered free as part of an Xmas holiday promotion from Momentum in 2014, and is apparently being put on repeat to help boost the upcoming 3rd-in-series, slated for release in September.

Customer reviews seem to say that this has a strong mystery-uncovering plotline with good worldbuilding for the fantasy universe setup underpinning it (and a lot of steamy love scenes as well). YMMV.
