Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/DRM-free) To Live is Christ to Die is Gain [Xtian Faith]

To Live is Christ to Die is Gain by Matt Chandler with Jared C. Wilson is their exhortational lifestyle-changing Jesus-centric faith manifesto based on the Paul's letter to the Phillippians, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

This has previously been offered free in 2014.

Currently free, probably just for the rest of the day @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub available to select countries), and may also be free via other venues listed on the publisher's web catalogue page, where you can watch the book trailer.

Description
Using Paul's radical letter to the Philippians as his road map, Matt Chandler forsakes the trendy to invite readers into authentic Christian maturity.

The short book of Philippians is one of the most quoted in the Bible, yet Paul wrote it not for the popular sound bites, but to paint a picture of a mature Christian faith. While many give their lives to Jesus, few then go on to live a life of truly vibrant faith.

In this disruptively inspiring book, Chandler offers tangible ways to develop a faith of pursuing, chasing, knowing, and loving Jesus. Because if we clean up our lives but don't get Jesus, we've lost! So let the goal be Him. To live is Christ, to die is gain—this is the message of the letter. Therefore, our lives should be lived to Him, through Him, for Him, with Him, about Him—everything should be about Jesus.

. . . .
"Philippians" instead of "Phillipians." It's correct in the description. Comes from the name of the city to which the epistle was written: Philippi. Philippi was named after a person named "Philip"--Philip II, King of Macedon. He is remembered most today for being the father of Alexander the Great.

Of course, the name of a person is often spelled "Phillip." It's always a challenge for me to remember if the name of a person is spelled "Phillip" or "Philip." Both are commonly used.

People often misspell the name of the country the "Phillipines," but it's "Philippines."
