PW3: How to page forward with left hand?

I'm used to holding my ereader with my left hand when reading, and turning pages with my left hand (so I can use my right hand for other things - e.g. eating.)

But I've recently switched to using a Paperwhite 3, and with the Kindle, the page turn forward zone is on the right hand side of the screen. I have to change hold after every page.

Surely I must just be missing something - can anyone tell me where the option is to reverse the page forward/page back zones on a PW3?

You can't reverse them, but what you might find it easier to do in that situation is to turn the page with a swipe rather than a tap. A short swipe (less than 1cm) will do it, and it works anywhere on the screen.

That's one reason I like the Voyage: it has page turn buttons on both sides, so can be used equally well with either hand.

Amazon has something called EasyReach, where the majority of the screen is actually the page turn zone. About 3/4 inch on the left side of the device is for previous turn and about a 1 inch zone on the top is to display the toolbar. I do agree they should have an option to flip the sides though.

I often read left hand no problem with a mix of tapping and, as HarryT said, swiping.

Thanks, both. I'll give the swiping a go.

I am left handed and even with the pagepress I still find myself swiping to turn the pages old habits are hard to break.

When you hold the device with your left hand, normally you can reach the "move forward" zone with your left thumb.
I just tested it with my Voyage and I can move backward and forward with my thumb without having to swipe at all.

Sadly I'm left handed so I use my right hand to hold the Kindle. Amazon, doesn't let us the ability to change the size of each zone.

I have pretty small hands and often read with the Kindle in my left hand and have no problems reaching over with my thumb to tap the page, though maybe it depends on how you hold the kindle in your hand?
