Firmware Updates and Hyphenation Dictionary
I have a custom hyphenation dictionary. When a new firmware is installed, do I need to reinstall my custom hyphenation dictionary?

If your hyphenation dictionary is for a language that the firmware installs one for (currently Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish) then it will be overwritten when the firmware is updated, so you'll need to reinstall it after each update.

Is it possible to set default dictionary (current English), to English-French dictionary
So when I open a new book the dictionary will be set to English- French, and not English.

You can open the update file and delete the respective dictionaries from it before upgrading. That way it won't overwrite the ones on the device.
