Currently serving in Baghdad, Iraq, and really looking hard at buying an eBook. I'm considering the Iliad, but I'm not sure which model to go for. I'm running a Mac and currently using a Palm LifeDrive as a reader - great toy, but the screen is too tiny.

I'd love to hear from anybody out there, especially a fellow Mac user.

Hi Sputnk6 and welcome to the Forum. I got a Sony 505 back in January and like it a lot. You'll be able to download books from the Sony and other sites from where you are.

'Cept that you can not run Sony's software on a Mac... and the software is required to buy from the Sony store. They need either a Mac version or support for buying the books directly from the web site.
