Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes) Gabriel: Lord of Regrets [Regency Romantic Suspense]

Gabriel: Lord of Regrets by Grace Burrowes is the 5th in her Lonely Lords series of f/m historical Regency romances, this installment a suspenseful one where the titular lord must untangle a plot against him that threatens his loved ones, as plots so often tend to do, free courtesy of publisher Sourcebooks' Casablanca imprint.

Currently free @ B&N (may also drop in the UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), & iTunes (available to Canadians). This doesn't seem to exist yet @ Kobo or Google Play, but will probably also be free there if they show up later, as Sourcebooks freebies usually are.

If you happen to enjoy Burrowes writing, a contemporary f/m workplace romance novella of hers from Sourcebooks is still free: A Kiss for Luck (Douglas, the 1st in the Lonely Lords series, can still be found free via the DANL link in that post, although whether they're open to new member signups, now that they're officially defunct, just to get the freebie is unknown), and the author is currently offering a self-published contemporary f/m Scotland-set romance novella, if you're interested: Must Love Highlanders @ Kobo (DRM-free) and likely to be price-matched elsewhere.

I can't speak for her contemporary romances, but her historicals are angst-fests (for those who like "tortured heroes").
