Kindlegen With A Single HTML File
I have been testing Kindlegen with a single HTML file. It does indeed create a .mobi and it set the title from the <title></title> element (not surprising really).
Is there a way to add other metadata when using Kindlegen like this? Or does one have to create an opf file in order to set things like Author? |

I upload my epubs to the KDP. I figure the closer I get to the actual sales point, the more trustworthy my preview will be. I haven't had a problem yet, in maybe 15 books. As I revise earlier publications, I do those in Sigil as well, and upload them to the KDP.
I have however adopted Sigil's file-splitting option, with an external style sheet. |
