Shout out to Audible Customer Service

Recently, I saw some posts here that Audible was emailing customers that purchased Jim Butcher's Ghost Story, narrated by John Glover, and offering them the new Jim Marsters version at no charge. I never got the email, and contacted Audible to see if the promotion was still available. It wasn't, but before I could say anything else, the rep offered me a free credit that I could use to purchase the newer version. Thanks Audible!

I contacted them about this last week. Audible told me that the email only went to current members and since I cancelled a few months ago my account was not eligible (even though I purchased the audiobook back when I was a member). Then they gave me a free credit to purchase the new version of Ghost Story anyway.

I'm happy that they refunded me for two books when I requested it, even though I don't have a membership. I listened to the first two but I just couldn't take it any more. I'm done with the series. So I was glad to get my money back on the two I hadn't listened to.
