Sorting within catalogue
I have series "Sharpe" and "Sharpe Extra", but "Sharpe Extra" is sorted before "Sharpe" in the catalogue. Likewise "Frederik Pohl (ed.)" appears before "Frederik Pohl". Why is this?

Are you sorting 'Decending'
the string difference is longer by a Space (chr 20) |

OK, I tried a new 'TBR' Catalog.
While I did not see your issue, I did see another 'quirk' ![]() in Library Metadata: Author1&Author2 Author2&Author1 (author 2 is now the Prime Author in a series) Author1 The Authors sort in the catalog Flips the order when needed. but... you get Author1 Author1&Author2 Author1&Author2 << |

Another thought: perhaps it's including the "</p>" when sorting? Then "<p>Sharpe Extra</p>" would be sorted before "<p>Sharpe</p>"...
I haven't got time to check it right now, but I'll have a look at this later! I can't think of any other plausible explanation... |

I'll try the quality check later... meanwhile I just opened the catalogue (which is AZW3) in the editor, and it's definitely a normal 0x20 space.

Since GRiker, who owns the catalog code is away, you are unlikely to get anywhere, unless you are willing to fix the code yourselves.
