On the T86 I am sometimes stuck with an activity which hides the task bar.
Is there a way to map the big button on the bottom of the device to the HOME button? PS: Fantastic device, especially with google 'swype' keyboard!! |

I haven't received my T68 yet, but I'm hoping that Button Remapper will be able to do the job. Has anybody tried this app?

I was not able to get Button Remapper to work, but I found out how to manually set the big button to home.
I used Root Explorer to copy the file /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl out to another place. I edited this file with a text editor and replaced the line: Code:
key 28 DPAD_CENTER WAKE Code:
key 28 HOME WAKE On reboot, the big front key now acts like the Home key. P.S I've had my T68 Lynx for 2 days now, it's all working fine and I've not had any reboots or screen calibration issues. |
