How do I correct an error I've been getting lately?

calibre, version 2.12.0
ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>Exception</b>:Failed to open u'/Users/HBrazee/Calibre Library/Georgette Heyer/Unknown Ajax (4778)/cover.jpg' with error: [Errno 24] Too many open files: u'/Users/HBrazee/Calibre Library/Georgette Heyer/Unknown Ajax (4778)/cover.jpg'

Thanks. I created the two configuration files for Yosemite, but didn't know which bash file to change (nor where it is). I also didn't know which directory to put the files in - I get confused about which root is being described - the directory appears to be two places. I changed it in my personal /Library/LaunchDaemons/ - nobody else will be running Calibre on my computer anyway. I then opened Calibre and made a couple of changes without getting the error windows (and without having to force kill Calibre to get out). So I guess it worked. I just cut and pasted, my unix knowledge is limited.

Then that can mean that you need your local computer whiz to come over and help make a advanced level system setting change.
