ebooks don't show up on Kindle, though present on drive

Hi all,
I apologize if I'm not posting on the appropriate forum, but I'm a bit lost

Please let me know where I should submit my question if I'm in the wrong place.

I've been using Calibre to upload ebooks to my Kindle Paperwhite for a few months without problem.
However, since yesterday, the ebooks don't appear on the Kindle, though they are present on the drive in the "documents" section. I've checked under "All Items", they aren't there either.
I've have tried restarting the machine, defragmenting, az3 format instead of mobi... Nothing has worked so far.
I know I can send the ebooks via mail or the app, but I've many books and Calibre has the advantage to organize the library on the Kindle.

Any idea why this is suddenly happening?

Your Kindle is likely choking on some badly formed book. Delete all the files ont he Kindle and resend the books in small batches, until you fond the culprit, then do a MOBI to MOBI conversion on that and resend it and youshould be fine.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I was hoping I wouldn't have to reset the Kindle and reupload my 300 books or so, but if it's the only way, I'll just have to do that.
