Default action for toolbar icons

Is there any way to change the default action of an icon in the main toolbar.

for example: if I click on the "remove books" icon it performs the "remove selected books" action. I would like it to perform the "remove books of a specific format" action.

I've found Preferences/Keyboard/Remove Books, but this has only allowed me to change the "Del" keyboard shortcut.
