transfer to iPad?

I'm about to receive my new iPad Air 2, replacing my old iPad 2. I usually use my Kindle reader, but the new iPad may actually be light enough to use for reading.

Can someone please direct me to some documentation on moving books from Calibre (Windows) to an iPad??
