Trim and keep only the three most used tags

Hi, is there a way to mass-trim all my books tags to the three most used?

@Belenos - with no active Virtual Library, in left sidebar, select Tags->Manage Tags, sort list by descending Count column, remove all but 3 topmost.

If you want to minimize the total number of Tags per Book, the QuarantineAndScrub add-on has a "Tag Minimization" function based on Tag Priorities. You can configure Q&S to keep only a maximum number of Tags that you specify. You set the Tag Priorities yourself.

I usually do that by removing all the least used, but removing everything is way too drastic.

You can configure Preferences: Metadata Download: (Right corner area)

That said
This is not aware of YOUR most used tags (Popularity)

Did you catch the hint?

Set the Tag Browser mode to Popularity to see which are most used
