Author:Order of Names

I migrated calibre from one computer to another. Before I had a setting, that in new Books the author is either in Sort and in Author-Field in Format "Christian-Name, Given-Name", f. ex. "Andersen, Hans Christian". Even though I found te switch @ Inserting books (in German it's "Vorname und Nachname des Autors vertau<s>chen", first checkbox on the right at "Der Hinzufügen Prozess" (adding process) - it's not working as expected anymore: In Sort it's as desired, but in Author-Field it's "Hans Christian Andersen". What am I doing wrong?

There are Author settings in Tweaks

@MetDeFiets - did you migrate the settings by copying the content of the configuration directory on the old computer to the configuration directory on the old computer

Use Preferences->Miscellaneous->Open calibre configuration directory to see the locations

I've done this successfully a number of times. Its not guaranteed to work, so I suggest you backup the content of what's the new config directory before overwriting with the old; then Sods Law will kick in, and you wont need it

First I want to thank you all for your answers. Sorry, I was quite a bit busy the last weeks, so I haven't found the time yet to work it all out.

I copied ~home/AppData\Roaming\calibre into ~AppData\Roaming\calibre_old and compared the directories. Most of the files are different, but I'm wondering if the settings are in .py or .json files.

However, I found a file in metadata_sources\global.json, content is
{
"swap_author_names": true,
"ignore_fields": []
}
after I copied this file over in the current Directory of calibre, it's now swapping the author names again

Maybe thatwill help other ppl also, since I found some requests regarding that surname/prename changing...

Indeed, that matches a checkbox in Prefernces ==> Sharing ==> Metadata download
"Swap author names from FN LN to LN, FN"

Usually copying over the config directory allows you not to think about changes at all, but of course if you didn't then it is simply a matter of hunting down the right settings in Preferences.
