OpenSSH 5.0p1
Hi, I built the OpenSSH suite. For most people this will be useless. Dropbear is an excellent replacement for OpenSSH. However, a few things might come in handy for certain people.
For example, you can add SFTP support to dropbear by copying "sftp-server" to /usr/libexec/. (Make sure it has executable permissions.) I do this since my university provides an SFTP client without SCP support. One very lame trick is to use the "ssh" client with X forwarding to remotely run any windowed program on the iLiad. Sadly remote programs don't update the iLiad screen, so you won't see anything unless you VNC into your iLiad. These are binaries only. No installer. Enjoy! |

bobj - This slipped by without much fanfare, but I wanted to let you know it's really useful. Almost every Linux file transfer program I can find assumes sftp-server is running, and with your contrib it does. I guess a lot of people are using Winscp from Windows, so they don't need sftp, but thank you from someone who does need it.

Here is a VNC server for iLiad: http://forum.irexnet.com/viewtopic.php?p=16951#16951
I use it to capture screen snapshots. It's really convenient. |
