History in an Hour: The Reformation by Edward A. Gosselin is a quickie guide in the titular series of Exactly What It Says In The Title which gives a useful concise overview of the important points of the schism in organized religion during Western Europe's Renaissance which led to the Protestant Reformation (Wikipedia), free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins' HarperPress imprint.

This is short but pretty nifty, and includes useful illustrated mini-biographies of the major players in the appendix, in case you finally wanted to put a face (or a reasonable line-drawing facsimile of one) to some of the names you might have read in the history books.

Currently free @ B&N UK, Amazon UK, iTunes UK, & Kobo (probably just available to the UK, and probably also available at Google Play UK too, but I can't easily check that from Canada). This didn't seem to be free in any of the usual sometimes-UK-freebie-getting EU/Oceania country stores I spot-checked, though YMMV.

Looks like you're right, and it is not marked down in the U.S. Just for kicks, I tried the websites for these vendors:

By 1648 Henry VIII’s desire for divorce...

This is a little worrying, not only is the year wrong but Henry VIII wanted an annulment which is not the same as a divorce. I just hope that it is only the blurb that contains these errors, otherwise it will be difficult to trust the contents of the book.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), the people who write the blurbs rarely have anything to do with the actual content of the book, assuming they've even bothered to look inside.

The actual text at location 427 of the Kindle version says (paraphrased, since it would be more bother than it's worth to copy-paste) that Henry VIII lived until 1547, and was at one time highly regarded by the Church and anti-Lutheran, up until he asked the pope for an annulment from Katherine of Aragon, and the rest is history.

Indeed, but the "King's Great Matter" is often called "The Divorce" and geeks will have heard of 'divorce a mensa et thoro' - legal separation but without dissolving the marriage.
