Troubleshooting Adding Pictures to Kindle Basic

Is there a way to add pictures to the kindle basic? I've tried creating a folder called "pictures" in the documents folder and adding pictures yet nothing shows up.

Are you trying to get them just to be display able as if they were one-page books? If so, just email them to your Kindle's email address. If you are trying to replace the screensavers, that would require a hack, and there may not be one available for the Basic (old one or new one).

I was able to display pictures by changing the folder's name from "pictures" to "images." Here is one of the pics I was able to show on my kindle.

You could put a bunch of jpegs into a epub using Sigil and then convert it to Kindle format in Calibre. That's what I did in the past when I wanted to have some pics on my Kindle.
