Automatic Adding Add file type to ignore list

I am using the automatic adding feature to add books to Calibre and it is working pretty good. The only time I have an issue is when I am using firefox to download a book into the automatic adding folder directly, and firefox takes a bit of time, creating a .part file. Is there any way I can tell Calibre to ignore the .part files? Is there a tweak that I can use to add to the list of file types to ignore?
Thanks

As far as I recall auto adding only adds books with known ebook file extensions, but i could be misremembering.

I have accidentally put non-book format files in my watch folder and calibre has happily ignored them so far.

There is an option (off by default) to add ALL types, not just books
Books are enabled by type in the list underneath

There's probably a file downloader than offers a setting to move files when the download finishes, off hand I don't know of one.

Try doing a search at the Moz Addon site. But be aware that some sites don't allow downloaders to take files from their servers.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I haven't been near a computer.

It's actually the opposite, the line reads in the Calibre preferences: "Ignore files with the following extensions when automatically adding." The list has all the regular ebook file extensions. I do have the all types checked off, so I'm thinking if I uncheck that, I accordingly I'll probably be OK then because the .part file is definitely not a known ebook type so it should then be ignored.
