German-English dictionary on Kindle touch 4GB (6. gen)

Hello, I bought myself a Kindle and since I want to use it for learning German.
Can you guys help me find and download a German to English dictionary. I tried to google it but still can't properly understand how to do the whole thing.

The easiest option would be to buy one from the Kindle Store. A search for "German Dictionary" returns a number of options which look good.

A commercial dictionary will be a lot better than any free public domain one, and the prices seem moderate.

I know, but so far Im looking for a free dictionary I can just download and somehow (I don't know how to do it) install it on my kindle

If you bought the latest basic Kindle with a touch screen, try installing the 5.6.1.0.2 firmware update.
If your Kindle is registered with Amazon you should see the following German-English dictionaries as free downloads after the update when you connect to your Amazon account via Wifi with your Kindle:

(If you have bought a refurbished Kindle 4 Touch model, you'll have to buy a dictionary. There's also a free one, but it isn't that great.)

If you've already registered your Kindle and installed the latest firmware, you might have to trigger the German dictionary download via:

Digital Contents > Manage Your Contents and Devices > Books > Dictionaries & User Guides > Oxford German - English Dictionary > Deliver

(The dictionary will be automatically downloaded to your Kinde the next time you connect to your Amazon account via Wifi.)

This the kindle I got. This is the one before the Kindle Paperwhite touch I think.

So I guess, I'll have to register my Kindle first, then update the firmware and then download the dictionary.

If you have the original Kindle Touch, I'm afraid you're out of luck. The dictionaries referred to aren't available for that.
