Mobi files on cloud

When i send my mobi files to Kindle Cloud with Calibre (over email), no matter what I do (just as removing [PDOC] tag) they are seen on kindle as documents and covers have "personal" tag on them.....

I would like to know if there's a workaround for this....I know that there are others threads like this, but I couldn't find a real answer...

Thanks

The answer is not to send them to the Cloud. Send them directly to your Kindle from Calibre.

The only problem with that is they will not sync across devices.

They'll only sync if you send them through Amazon. Amazon doesn't know what you do with Calibre.

Correct. In order to get them to sync you have to send them through Calibre or the send to kindle app

Sync across devices or file as an ebook without the Personal banner -- pick one and live with it.

That does not get rid of the Personal banner, it merely shifts the cover around so the bottom isn't chopped off by said banner.

The OP may or may not be content with that.

Thanks for reminding us of this tool (I had forgotten it existed).
