ERROR: Unhandled exception

Any book or magazine I try to open in Calibre (DRM free) I get the following error. This problem was not happening before I upgraded. So maybe it was something with the upgrade. I do not know just asking.

The weird part is I have my library installed on an external drive. Not my C drive.

calibre, version 2.13.0
ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>IOError</b>:[Errno 2] No such file or directory: u'C:\\Program Files\\Calibre2\\resources\\content_server\\jquery .js'

The trace is complaining not about your library but a file in calibre installation. It looks like some file is missing (I've checked and it's there, in calibre directory). Perhaps you should try to reinstall it.

That's my idea, perhaps another person has more knowledge about it.

@KyBunnies - try a Repair if it's offered. Otherwise uninstall/reinstall you wont lose anything - library or configuration, but an extra backup never did any harm.

I did a repair and that fixed the problem. Thanks everyone.

I guess it was a corrupt install or something. Who knows.

Terisa de morgan I honestly did not know what is was complaining about. I did think it was my library because it happened when I clicked on a book to view. Honestly all this stuff has gotten to complicated for my brain lol. Thanks for your help.

lol annoying. Nope only thing annoying is me not understanding all this myself

I am not a techie person. I was going to try after yoru suggestions this morning but I was very tired and it was to late for me to make sure I installed correctly. Maybe I hit something wrong during the last upgrade.
