Can any one suggests maximum file size of ePub[2 & 3]?

There is no maximum file size, but you need to keep an eye on the market. If your target is as many readers out there, you are almost bound to ePUB2 and need to support e-Ink readers. That means low performance hardware with limited hardware. So, not many bells and whistles.
If your target is a full blown ePUB3 with audio/video for a tablet, the restriction would be the free space on the tablet. Not that I think your audience would be happy if you take a lot of space though...

Generally speaking there is no maximum size but you should know:
1. Most eBook readers load a chapter (one file) at a time and for some readers the maximum size of a file is about 260K (under 300K).
2. Some eBook readers can't handle an image more 4Mpixel in size.
3. Some eBook programs read the full ePub into memory (iBooks for example) so load times can get long.
4. The length of the TOC can make it unusable in some devices. Generally you should nest a long TOC with different levels but some readers do not support levels. Some readers expect the first entry in a new level to be directly under a prior level with no text in between.
