Calibre 2.12 & Aura H2O
Can someone please help? I have a brand new Aura H2O and when using it with Calibre I was able to transfer books into collections with no problem. I upgraded to Calibre 2.12 and now I get the following message when I connect my Aura:

calibre, version 2.12.0
WARNING: Failed: Kobo database version unsupported - See details

Your Kobo is running an updated firmware/database version. As calibre does not know about this updated firmware, database editing is disabled, to prevent corruption. You can still send books to your Kobo with calibre, but deleting books and managing collections is disabled. If you are willing to experiment and know how to reset your Kobo to Factory defaults, you can override this check by right clicking the device icon in calibre and selecting "Configure this device" and then the "Attempt to support newer firmware" option. Doing so may require you to perform a factory reset of your Kobo.
Device database version: 111.
Device firmware version: (3, 12, 0)


I immediately disconnected the Aura and now I have duplicate and triplicate collections which I can't delete.

Does anyone know how to fix this or do I need to wait until a new version of calibre? I don't know what to do at this point except stop using calibre. This problem with the duplicate collections is maddening.

Just select the option in the calibre driver to support unsupported database versions.

The driver was bumped to the next version this week, and will be in the next release of calibre. In the meantime, you can do what PeterT said.

Hmm, I thought there was supposed to be a maintenance release midweek...
