Glo Sleep screen often doesn't show percentage read

Hi!

I've noticed this behaviour for a while, read a thread here that seemed to confirm it, but now I can't find that thread.

Often, when I've done a bit of removing and re-adding books to the Glo through Calibre, the sleep screen on the Glo will display the cover and the "Sleeping" box, but no percentage (i.e. "40%). If I turn it back on and check the "Power, Light, etc" settings, the options to show those panels is not there. If I power off and power back on, everything is back.

Does anyone else have this problem? It's whatever firmware is from the end of April this year (I'm not near my Glo right now).

Is there a better fix than rebooting?

I've noticed it happening more frequently since I upgraded to the newest Calibre (as of Sunday) and the latest ALF tools.

Am now in possession of my Glo, firmware is 3.3.0 (April 17, 2014).

I have had this on and off for a while. It started with the early 3.x firmware and was still happening with 3.11.0. I can't remember seeing it for a few weeks, so it might be fixed in 3.12.0.

I have never worked out what triggered it. But, restarting didn't seem to have an effect. Removing the affiliates file sometimes seemed to fix it. Generally, after a few days, it seemed to fix itself.

I can't figure it out either, it seems to be hit and miss as far as what causes it. It can happen with a random file, or (more often), if I have to replace a specific book many times after re-edits.

I haven't tried waiting it out, I check and see if the options to show the percentage read is displayed under "Sleep, Light and power". If it's not, I reboot, if it is I relax.

Next time, I may try waiting and seeing if it fixes itself. I didn't try removing the file, though. Hmm.

I just added another book thru Calibre- Jilly Cooper's Class, and it removed the percentage read from the sleep cover. GRR!!! I'll wait and see if it resolves itself over time (if I can restrain myself from rebooting it).

I couldn't stand it - OCD - and rebooted it. However, I took the info box option off the sleep cover, so now I won't know if it happens or not. .. .. .. Unless I compulsively check that section of the "Settings" (which I'm pretty sure I will
