Sync sideloaded Kindle books without "the cloud"?
Is there a way to sync sideloaded books on the Kindle app, without uploading the book to amazon cloud drive?

Syncing book position between my phone and tablet via bluetooth would be very nice, especially when I'm away from WiFi access for the tablet.

Of course books I've downloaded from Amazon on one can be downloaded on the other, and synced if I have WiFi for the tablet. An offline sync that also works for downloaded books would be quite useful.

I believe at one point it worked, but not anymore.
