Library won't transfer

I recently downloaded some books from Kobo and installed them on my new Aura but when I wanted to add them to my Calibre library I get a message that the book is virtual and can't be transferred. Does this mean that any book I order I can only access on the device used to download . I had been hoping to transfer a couple of the books to my original Kobo to take hunting this week .
What am I doing wrong

This is the traditional way Kobo books have been treated.

I do know you can import them from Kobo Desktop, using the oboK plugin. (Like Alf but for Kobo.)

Additionally you could always sync your original Kobo via Kobo Desktop to get the new books.
