Free (Kindle/iTunes) Every Move You Make by J. Jones [Contemporary Romantic Suspense]
Every Move You Make by Jill Jones is her f/m contemporary romantic suspense set in San Francisco, starring a plucky divorcee and her dance instructor vs a serial killer, free courtesy of publisher Diversion Books, who are e-printing it from its 2001 St. Martin's Press edition.
Incidentally, this is one of the few apropos romance-related uses I've seen for the lyrics from The Police's "Every Breath You Take", which Sting himself has gone on record as saying that he's surprised and disturbed by people's uses of it at their weddings, since he wrote it* as a twisted stalker song. Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK) & iTunes (available to Canadians). Description Following her divorce, Regan McKinney moves to San Francisco to start a new life, but she couldn’t have chosen a worse time to arrive. The city is gripped with fear as a brutal killer stalks the streets, murdering women—women who look a lot like Regan. Though disturbed by the vicious crimes, Regan is determined to get on with her life, landing a promising job and finding her confidence again when she catches the attention of her handsome dance instructor. But she’ll soon learn that Peter Smith isn’t the only one who has his eye on her. Will she be safe enough in the arms of the man gunning for her affection, with a sadistic killer gunning for her life? * Another popular misunderstood wedding song selection is reportedly Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight", which apparently is actually a complaint about how long it took his then-wife to get ready to go out and her habit of repeatedly seeking validation from him while doing so. And then there's also that particular Shakespearean sonnet which het couples like to use, which in context was apparently about thinly-veiled delights of torrid Elizabethan mansex… Last edited by ATDrake; 11-20-2014 at 03:53 AM.
